Restore our community park at Camberwell Junction

Camberwell Green acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people as the Traditional Owners and true sovereigns of the land now known as Boroondara. We acknowledge their creator spirit Bunjil, their Ancestors and their Elders.

We acknowledge the strength and resilience of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung, who survived European invasion and never ceded sovereignty. We also acknowledge the significant contribution made by the many other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to life in Boroondara.

The asphalt car park near Reserve Road has been removed and works have commenced on a landscape architect designed vibrant green space!

We are a group of local residents keen to live in a greener Camberwell. As our population grows, it is ever more important to have green space around us. More volunteers are needed to continue the campaign to have the midsection of Reserve Road closed to create a flowing green space from the junction to the civic centre.

Get in touch now to offer your help to make this happen!
