Restore our community park at Camberwell Junction
Camberwell Green acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people as the Traditional Owners and true sovereigns of the land now known as Boroondara. We acknowledge their creator spirit Bunjil, their Ancestors and their Elders.
We acknowledge the strength and resilience of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung, who survived European invasion and never ceded sovereignty. We also acknowledge the significant contribution made by the many other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to life in Boroondara.

The State Government
has announced that it will provide a total of $1,760,000 to convert the car park to open space but sadly Boroondara Council have voted against supporting the use of this land by the school and local community.

We are a group of local residents keen to live in a greener Camberwell. As our population grows, it is ever more important to have green space around us. We are petitioning our local council and State Government to increase the green space for our community by restoring Camberwell Junction’s historic park and would love your support.
